Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refunds

At KnowHow by Sanskriti, your time and the therapist’s time are both valued. To ensure smooth scheduling and fairness for all clients, the following policy applies to all sessions.

 

Appointment & Payment Confirmation

• Online Sessions: An online session is considered confirmed only after advance payment is received via the shared QR code or website booking. Slots are only guaranteed once payment confirmation is received.

• Offline Sessions: Payment can be made via Cash or UPI at the time of your appointment when you arrive.

• Delayed Payments: If a payment is delayed for more than 48 hours post-session, a late administrative fee of Rs. 250 will apply. Subsequent sessions cannot be booked or attended until outstanding balances are cleared.

 

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We follow a strict 12-hour notification window for all scheduling changes.

• More than 12 Hours' Notice: You may freely reschedule or cancel your session with no financial penalty.

• Late Cancellation / Rescheduling (Less than 12 hours' notice): Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 12 hours before the scheduled time will incur a late fee of Rs. 500.

• No-Shows: Failing to show up for a scheduled session without any prior intimation before the session starts will incur a fee of Rs. 1,000 to cover the vacant clinical hour.

Session Consistency & Scheduling 

• The Anchor Slot: We highly recommend maintaining a fixed, dedicated day and time for your sessions each week (e.g., every Tuesday at 4:00 PM) to ensure continuity of care and protect your slot.

• Short-Notice Requests: Requests for same-day appointments or next-morning sessions (made the evening prior) require a minimum of 24 hours' notice. Ad-hoc requests are strictly subject to the therapist's availability and clinical capacity.

Refund Policy

Therapy session fees are non-refundable once a booking is confirmed.

• Refunds or fee waivers will not be provided for late cancellations, no-shows, partial attendance, or a change of mind after the booking.

• Therapist Cancellations: In the rare event that a session is cancelled by the therapist, you will be offered a priority reschedule.

 

Late Arrival & Extensions

• Late Arrival: If you arrive late, the session will still end at the original scheduled time to respect subsequent clients. The full session fee remains applicable.

• Session Extensions: Standard sessions are 60 minutes (with a natural 5-minute wrap-up grace period). Extensions past 10 minutes or requests for extra time are billed as follows (subject to therapist availability):

• Involuntary/Overtime Extension (10+ mins): Rs. 350

• Requested 30-Minute Extension: Rs. 675

• Requested 60-Minute Extension: Rs. 1,350

 

Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that genuine medical or personal emergencies happen. Exceptional, unavoidable circumstances will always be reviewed compassionately on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of the therapist.

 

Agreement

By booking a session with KnowHow by Sanskriti, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy.
